
Christopher 2X is a nationally recognized advocate for peace, justice, and violence prevention, with more than two decades of frontline leadership in communities impacted by trauma. He is frequently called upon to help navigate and de-escalate high-profile incidents involving race and violence, serving as a trusted voice in moments of crisis. Central to his work is the belief that early childhood education is one of the most powerful long-term solutions to ending gun violence.
In 2018, at the encouragement of Charles Adkins, a tax attorney and retired Special Agent of the U.S. Treasury Department, Christopher 2X expanded his impact by founding 2X Game Changers, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Louisville, Kentucky.
The organization leads a movement rooted in education, non-violence, and opportunity, working to ensure all children can reach their full potential. The name “Game Changers” was inspired by Christopher 2X’s longtime friend, entertainment mogul Percy Miller, also known as Master P. Today, he serves as Executive Director, leading a diverse and mission-driven Board of Directors. Christopher 2X’s work has received national recognition. In 2026, he was named an Aspen Institute Global Innovators Healthy Communities Fellow, honoring leaders advancing health equity and community transformation. In 2023, the Kentucky Medical Association awarded Christopher 2X and three University of Louisville physicians the Community Service Award for co-founding the Future Healers Kiddos Medical Program, an initiative introducing youth to careers in healthcare while addressing the long-term impacts of violence. His commitment to service has been recognized across sectors. In 2022, Chris received the FBI Director’s Community Leadership Award, the agency’s highest civilian honor, at a ceremony in Washington, D.C. In 2021, he received the Prestigious Mayor’s Spirit of Louisville Award from Mayor Greg Fischer through the WLKY Bell Awards, and the Community Partner Award from the University of Louisville Hospital J. David Richardson Trauma Center. His collaboration with trauma teams has provided critical support to victims of violence and their families during some of their most difficult moments. In 2020, Christopher 2X received a full and unconditional presidential pardon from President Donald J. Trump, an experience that further strengthened his commitment to justice, accountability, and community healing. That same year, U.S. Senator Rand Paul entered his Violence: Impact on Children’s Learning report into the Congressional Record, recognizing its significance in addressing how violence affects youth, families, and educational outcomes.
Christopher 2X holds an honorary Doctorate of Public Service from Spalding University and was awarded the Joan E. Thomas, M.D. Lifetime Achievement Award for Peacemaking by The Center for Women and Families. Over the course of his career, he has received more than 40 honors for his service and impact.
